The Office of Justice Programs' Winter 2009 newsletter ran a story on The Advocates' efforts to reform Minnesota legislation on sex trafficking. The Advocates, supported by the Minnesota Coalition Against Sexual Assault, testified before the Minnesota Sentencing Guidelines Commission (MSGC) about the appropriate placement of the newly enacted sex trafficking statute within the state's sentencing guidelines.
